THEATER AFTER SCHOOL: Need help keeping your kids and dogs entertained? Whether you are a parent looking for break or a babysitter trying to find a place to play with your littlest clientele, we are the place for you! We carry all kinds of costumes! We provide the costumes, games, and safety supervisors. Your kids provide the imagination.


Questions: 

Mother:

Do you think that acting, dancing, or singing is important

to a child’s development?

     “Yes, I think it is very important. My kids love to 

put on performances for me and my husband. It makes them so 

happy.”

Have you ever gone to the theater to see a play/musical? 

 “Only once… I’ve seen more of them on TV, but I do 

enjoy watching them when I get the chance.”

Child:

Do you like to play dress-up?

“Yeah”

(If you answered ‘yes’ above) What do you like to dress-up

as?

     “A Dinosaur” 

Who is your favorite super hero?  Would you like to have 

its costume?

     “Batman”     “Yeah” 

Would you like to have your dog at the theatre?

     “Yeah.”

Do you like spending time with your babysitter?

     “Yeah… she funny.”

What games do you like to play?

     “Hide and seek, Baseball, Picture-book…”

Baby/Dog sitter:

Do you ever wish you had help babysitting/dogsitting?

     “Yeah, that would be nice. I love my job, but that

would be nice.

 

How many dogs can you sit at once?

     “Four to Five” 

How many children can you sit once? 

     “Up to three.” 

What are your favorite activities to do with children?

     “Watch a movie or play dress-up.”

What are your favorite activities to do with dogs?

     “Taking them to the dog park.”

Do you have any concerns with babysitting/dogsitting? 

     “Safety is always something I have to think about. Well that, and how comfortable the parents are with my personality.” 

What do you mean by that?

     “Sometimes the kids will like me, but the parents won’t or the other way around. I have to make sure that I am not teaching the kids something the parents don’t want them to know.”

Do you think that acting, dancing, or singing is important 

to a child’s development? 

     “Yeah, I do. They teach me how to be more patient, but 

I can teach them how put their imagination to good use.”

Have ever gone to the theater to see a play/musical?

     “Yeah, my old high school puts on a lot local plays.”
